St. Elizabeth Physicians measures all aspects of the patient experience. To ensure that we are holding ourselves to the highest standards in achieving trust, satisfaction, and positive outcomes, we partner with an independent patient satisfaction company, Press Ganey. For more than 30 years, Press Ganey has been the industries recognized leader in improving the patient experience. Today, Press Ganey works with more than 26,000 healthcare facilities.
Who receives the survey?
The electronic Medical Practice survey is mailed or emailed to all St. Elizabeth Physicians patients within a few days of their appointment. Patients take the survey and provide comments regarding specific aspects of care. We use this feedback to improve all aspects of the clinic experience. Our goal is to provide each patient with an exceptional experience of care. Each year we hear back from over 45,000 patients who receive care in our outpatient centers.
Do you post all comments?
We are committed to posting positive and negative feedback. However, we do not post comments that are libelous, slanderous, and profane or those that risk the privacy of our patients
How is the provider’s patient satisfaction star rating created?
Star ratings are based from patient responses to seven questions about care from their provider during an office visit in relation to friendliness/courtesy, clear explanation, confidence, concern, and time spent.
Why don’t we see patient ratings and comments for every provider?
The more ratings a physician receives increases the accuracy and reliability of the results. A physician’s rating will only be posted on the site providing he/she has a minimum of 30 completed surveys over a twelve month period.
