At St. Elizabeth Physicians, we are committed to finding new ways of delivering you and your family the care you need, when you need it. When you call our NURSE NOW Helpline, you'll speak with a registered nurse who will help direct you to the right level of care.

Our nurses are specially-trained to assess your needs, determine the severity of the situation, and then advise you on what to do next.

How can the NURSE NOW Helpline help me?
The NURSE NOW Helpline is a safe way to get trusted health information and advice. Our staff is available to help with a variety of issues like:
  • Answers for any health-related questions.
  • Self-care or at-home suggestions for minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Understanding prescriptions, dosage information or medication side-effects.
  • Recommendations of where to go for medical care.

Who can use the NURSE NOW Helpline?

The St. Elizabeth Physicians NURSE NOW Helpline is a free service available to the residents of the communities we serve. You are not required to be a St. Elizabeth patient to use the NURSE NOW Helpline.

When would I use the NURSE NOW Helpline?

The NURSE NOW Helpline is here for when you need it most. Some situations where we can help include:
  • My child has a fever, how high is too high?
  • How can I tell if I need stitches?
  • Is this heartburn or something else?
  • Did I give them the right medication? Or the right dosage?
  • What are the symptoms of a concussion?
  • Is this rash serious?
  • How long do I wait with ongoing stomach pain?
  • How do I know if my arm is broken?
  • What if this is more than stress?
  • Which doctor do I need to see for this?
