Administrative Fellowship

St. Elizabeth Physicians Administrative Fellowship

The St. Elizabeth Physicians Administrative Fellowship is a full-time program that offers the flexibility to accommodate an individual’s interests with exposure to a broad range of learning opportunities in a medical group and health system environment.

Throughout this program, fellows will be exposed to senior-level decision-making processes, participate in team decision-making activities, and work on projects with departments throughout the system. While the program is designed to attract and retain emerging talent in the field of healthcare administration, the fellows will lead and participate in projects that will ultimately contribute value to the organization’s strategic framework and operational initiatives.

The fellows will gain exposure to the key service lines, departments and core functions of the organization and gain experiences and benefits from formal, organizational and professional development opportunities. Additionally, current fellows will serve in a mentor role for incoming fellows through their onboarding process and into the first few months of the fellowship. St. Elizabeth Physicians offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.

About St. Elizabeth Physicians

St. Elizabeth Physicians is the multi-specialty physician organization of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, one of the oldest, largest and most respected medical providers in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Our combined reputation has been built through unyielding dedication to our patients and associates. We are focused on introducing innovative treatments, technology and processes that lead not only to better patient care and experience, but also to the overall improvement of the health and wellness of our region.

With 451 physicians, 244 advanced practice providers, and more than 2,200 non-provider associates, our medical group delivers high levels of patient-centered medical care out of 165 physician offices to residents of Northern Kentucky, Southwestern Ohio, and Southeastern Indiana.

St. Elizabeth Physicians was named the American Medical Group Association’s 2020 Acclaim Award recipient, honoring the nation’s premier healthcare delivery organization. This award recognizes an organization that has successfully aligned itself with the AMGA’s attributes of a high-performing health system and the quadruple aim. St. Elizabeth Physicians was also voted as one of Kentucky’s Best Places to Work in 2020 by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group. Additionally, St. Elizabeth Healthcare was recently ranked as a Best Regional Hospital in both Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region by U.S. News and World Report.

The first component of the fellowship provides an opportunity for the Fellow to better understand the organization’s operations and support infrastructure. During the first rotational component, the Fellow will meet with department leaders and build a foundational knowledge of the organization.

The second component of the fellowship provides the opportunity to enlist the support of the Fellow in various projects across the organization. To ensure a well-rounded fellowship experience and appropriate workload, the preceptor serves as the clearing house for project assignments during the fellowship.

During the last quarter of the fellowship, the Fellow will serve in more leadership and management roles.

Professional Development:

Fellows will be given the opportunity to actively participate in meetings, present work to executives, and work alongside individuals at all levels within the system. Opportunities to develop, both personally and professionally through St. Elizabeth’s Leadership Academy will also be available.
