Nick Brinkman, MD, is a family medicine physician born and raised in Northern Kentucky and is proud to care for the community that shaped him. He completed his residency and internship, as well as his medical degree, at the University of Louisville. After completing his medical training, Dr. Brinkman returned home to serve local patients and joined St. Elizabeth Physicians, a system his family trusted throughout his childhood. He chose family medicine for the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and to build long-term relationships through continuity of care. His approach emphasizes active listening, individualized treatment plans, and evidence-based medicine, ensuring patients feel heard and involved in their care, with a focus on preventive health and helping patients improve their well-being through sustainable lifestyle changes, including nutrition and physical activity, alongside modern medical treatments.
